Sad news

We lost one of our Snowbirds in a B.C. crash. Two planes took off, one looks like had a mechanical problem, came down just a few secs after take off.

All I know. Sad.

Always sad to hear about these sorts of incidents where aircraft squadrons that are intended to be inspirational have an unfortunate outcome.

As a brat son of an RCAF Group Captain (Colonel) I was exposed to the tutor jets at a young age and will always admire the skill and personal risk assumed by the pilots of this particular branch of the armed services.

Sad to hear...
