What's your favorite DOG movie or two?
I saw this list online, although it doesn't include everything:
https://editorial.rottentomatoes.com/guide/best-dog-movies-ranked-by-tomatometer/ My all time favorite is #6 Best in Show, but I'll need to watch Old Yeller, as I don't remember much about it. Will watch #3 and #4. I really like Wallace and Gromit The Wrong Trousers and named my dog after Gromit, but it's more of a charming British claymation more than a dog movie. There's a lot of interesting titles in that list, although I don't agree with the ranking. Every scene in Best in Show is great, like Caddyshack. The more times you see it, the funnier it gets.

K-9, Jerry Lee was the greatest, but of course I’m partial to German Shepherds

Basically, any movie featuring Parker Posey would win my vote, thanks.

The Art of Racing in the Rain. Strangely, I thought this movie was about racing in the rain. Spoiler: It's a dog movie.

Best in show gets my vote too. Starts out funny and goes straight up from there.

Best in Show is a classic, and Fred Willard is just hilarious...one of my favorite comedy flicks. I can see why folks in the show dog world might not find it very funny though...
For a real tear-jerker of a dog film, there's always A Dog's Way Home. Totally predictable with a happy ending and all, but it can be entertaining too. Great for a family movie night if you have young kids.

The Shaggy Dog and the Shaggy DA. Both have such great 1950s cars that even as a kid I noticed them. The stories are silly enough that kids and their dads can both enjoy them.

Oh wait . . . This one is a classic. Not a movie but funny as all hell.
