Turtles are like sun-dials. You can almost tell the time of day by how they situate themselves...shell pointed to get all of the rays possible...with back legs extended.

We have a black and tan dachshund that must be part reptile. I call him lizard boy. On a 90+ degree day he will go an lay in the sun, up against the brick house, and on the concrete. If I go in the back yard and catch him sunbathing he always acts guilty. It is like his secret and he is embarrassed when caught in the act. I don''t scold him in the slightest for it, he is not hurting anything.

He likes it hot. He will eventually come in the house panting and drink a lot of water, but he is grinning and happily warm.

86% this morning, then a massive downpour. Now at 52% and dewpoint at 60. Tomorrow looks to be glorious.

red-beard 06-11-2020 03:19 PM

It's nice today. Dewpoint is down to 55F! RH is around 25%

Of course it is also 93 degrees. But for this time of year, that is GREAT!
