Facebook Marketplace Guys, look at Facebook Marketplace, you'll see dozens of late model cars listed at $1,000-$2,000. I emailed one seller and got a reply - she listed through a dealer but its a private sale, husband died and she moved, wants to use eBay Auto for the transaction. Scam? Opinions welcome. I can't figure out how to report to FB. |

Multiple parts - all indicate scam |

All scam. there are tons of them every day . If it looks too good to be true it is. They are never local, they are always selling for a sister, cousin, uncle etc. The car is never available to view, and no way to pay cash . |

I usually scroll right past any ads with ridiculously low prices. All scams. No exceptions. Now, if a Nigerian prince needs my assistance to bring $90M into the states, I’m all over that! |

Or fishing for information. Scammer has alot of info if you answer an ad. Probably has your name, address, and knows what you are into. The 'quizes' are fishing for information..... also.. I try to vet sellers before contacting. See their other ads, facebook history, etc. The link they send you for 'ebay auto' will be a fake also...... |
