Samsung s20 question
Question for the braintrust :)
A friend of mine has a new Samsung s20. He’s not tech savvy at all. He tells me the volume control at the top of the screen appeared for some unknown reason. Doesn’t know how. It does not seem to affect any app or or volume setting on his phone. It does slide left and right and the buttons left and right of it react to touch but don’t do anything either. Anyone know what it is and how to remove it? It is always there and annoyingly blocks buttons... My Google fu is letting my down on this one. Thanks for any info |

I have not had that happen on mine

I would turn it off and back on.

It looks like a Music App is running.

I think there is a setting in the top bar that makes that volume come up when using a music or video app, but only in the background, like when using Screen mirroring to a TV or bluetooth speaker. You can turn it off in the settings.
Love my S20 so far. |

I’m thinking software bug but the restart should have taken care of that. |
If you do a long tap on the screen, do widgets come up along with home settings?
Can you swipe down on the little down arrow at the top right? |
Yes, both of those work, but no way to get rid of it.
He decided to take it back to the shop. Thanks for the tips guys. |
