i assume this is for a Battery Tender?

i need to poke around and find the other end of this. it fell down deeper and i don't want to pull any on it until i gather more intel.

i think its for a battery tender. do all of them have a cord like this? or do i have to buy a certain brand to attach to it. i do not want to take the seat on/off repeatedly to keep the battery topped off over the hotass summer.

what do we know?

You could measure with a voltmeter and see which connector is positive.

If it was me, I'd follow the wire and see if it looks like a factory connection. If not, I would remove it. I do not trust PO wiring.....

It does however look like a tender connector: https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Tender-081-0148-25-Disconnect-Extension/dp/B000FW2MWW/ref=pd_bxgy_2/140-0255688-4255110?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B000FW2MWW&pd_rd_r=233d90bb-ff1c-4ee0-aa1f-32bbdb0d1bda&pd_rd_w=Oou36&pd_rd_wg=AtMLL&pf_rd_p=4e3f7fc3-00c8-46a6-a4db-8457e6319578&pf_rd_r=347CF8XY9C5293ZJHXPZ&psc=1&refRID=347CF8XY9C5293ZJHXPZ

I have the charger side and got rid of the MC.

Its yours if you want it. Just a little thing and the charger plugs directly into the 110 outlet and the other end mates with the end in your picture. 8-10' foot cord.

model 021-0123

Its normally attached straight to the battery terminals. It looks like "Battery Tender" brand to me. I've got 8 of them

While mainly used for charging, they can be used for power - I have a USB charger for my phone that works with that cable.

I've been keeping my MC battery charged with that for years. FYI the exposed side is the negative and, if you haven't looked, the other ends of the wire should be connected to your terminals. Keeping the battery on a battery tender really extends the life of the battery.

Is it an AGM battery, it could work for an Optima charger too.
The Optima charges at variable rate, then conditions the battery then goes in to maintenance mode.
It is the correct charger for a AGM batteries.
I had the battery tenders but no longer use them.

It also may be used as a connector for a heated vest or heated gloves.
