Oh, not all Bullitt Mustangs were green...Ford made some blue ones in the '01's, some black ones in the '08-'09, and some black ones in the '19-'20 models. However, Dark Highland Green was the color by a vast majority. The most rare in number? Black '09. Only 181 made. My green '09 is one of 626. Not that this makes them sought after collectable cars...but they do seem to hold resale value better than the other '09 Mustangs.

I'd keep what you have. Cars become less fun when they become collectible, IMO.
I'm a few shakes younger than you, but I doubt I'll ever buy a new car again--for myself. Mrs. Corgi may want one.

Bought Cindy a new Camry in '16. Yep, only an appliance car, but it's been another zero problems car. Great little Grocery hauler. We use it for short trips around the area while the Mustang gives us comfortable 80 miles round trips to our favorite pool hall & back home.

Mustang not for sale...it also serves me pretty well, despite often thinking maybe I should go automatic since snapping a left foot tendon. However, I can still work a manual. Just not as comfortably or well as before the tendon snap.

Corgi, I know too well how cars become less fun when they become sought after collectables. Been there-done that, got rid of it.

pwd72s, I thought of you as I scanned the Mustang GTs for sale locally. I found a 09 Bullitt for $12,500, but i'm looking for a 2013/2014 with the Coyote motor.

I am looking for a car to have for many years, and just can't wrap my head around getting another manual transmission that the Bullitts have (with a bad hip, and not getting any younger...55).

Why get a Mustang Bullitt when you COULD get a Mustang Mullett??

Must be a pretty high miles or maybe salvage title? The new 'Stangs automatics are a 10 speed dual clutch paddle shifting trans. Haven't driven one but they sound good on paper. The new automatics quite a bit faster in the quarter than the manuals. Kinda wild to read that right off the showroom floor the new 'Stangs with the 5.0 turn quarter mile times in the 10's.

(edit) If it's a Bullitt you want, they all come manual. I do know of a guy in Pennsylvania who has one with 13,000 on it's odo he might sell for $20K.
Bone stock, a cherry. Service has been better than "by the book". He's an older guy whose thing is going to the summer cruise-ins, but according to board posts he's made, is thinking he wants a new one. Dunno why, but to each their own.
