Snapshots of street cars

I've got lots of these pictures - when I'm out walking or cycling I'll usually take a second and snap a shot of cars that catch my eye.

(Full disclosure, I've always been slightly leery of doing this, like I'm doing something without asking.)
(Catholic upbringing. Born guilty.)

I wouldn't trade my 10mm socket for any of those except the GT3.

Eric, that picture of the Caddy in Alaska - strangely enough, I got the instant feel of all those pictures of cars we see in Cuba

Model 319, out in the middle of the Owyhee desert in Idaho. Someone had converted it to a motorhome.

Being a car paparazzi is like the national pastime in L.A. I have hundreds of random car photos, let me see what I can dig up...

I like to shoot cars that are daily, or at least weekend driven that I see parked out in the wild. The '73RS above is a driven car, (in rotation w his other cars), same w this original paint, super low mileage unrestored '62 300SL roadster:

Or any of these, either parked at the bank or the tire shop, etc.:

I think you are right. Here's a better shot of it:

I went nuts over that car. Original '69 Z-28 in ratty shape but no rust or collision damage. Young Latino guy owned it, I think he told me it was his older brother's car originally. In the same family for decades.

The engine in the car was a replacement SBC but he had the original 302 on the shelf at home. I asked him whether he was worried about it getting stolen and he told me that no one in his 'hood even knew what it was. Just an old, hooptie car to young car thieves.

Ohhh...it's the Edelbrock version.

Ford made a few odd Boss intakes too. All of them are $$$$$$ today.
