........, quam minimum credula postero
"carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero"
[B"]seize the day, put little trust in tomorrow"[/B]. is the full quote. (btw - it's a nice bar trick to finish the quote when someone says the first two words). one of my favorite contractor superintendents had a heart attack and died Sunday. nuts!, this guy looked like he was carved from a piece of granite. i once jumped into a hole to take a measurement not thinking about how i was gonna climb out. he reached down and damn near lifted me out with his arm. i mean, i helped..i didnt let go. my hand strength was impressive! we would solve some damn near impossible problems together. he was expensive on a time/material project, but worth every penny. i got to get more done in my life. have a krap load more fun and build up some memories. |
Sorry to hear about that, Vash.
Great quote, I’ll have to try and remember that. |
Sorry vash .... that's a tough one. Keep on casting bud!

Sorry to hear.
My first job out of college landed me in a place with a lot of long-term employees; most had kids older than me at the time. It was tough when I started losing trusted mentors and colleagues... |

In pidgin English that clearly says, "Sieze the day, you have a small but credible posterior." That might not be the message you want to convey. Be careful who you're talking to. |
He did say it was a nice bar trick. :)
