Mary Mallon. Typhoid Mary

I read about her as a kid. Fascinating then as it is today.

Crazy how many people she got sick. She was Not a fan of hand washing if I remember correctly. She was not ever symptomatic. Just a carrier. She was also stubborn and ...well she was put away in an institution.

Didn’t Anthony Bourdain write a book about her? (Googling it now)

They caught her, imprisoned her..paroled her with the admonishment never to be food worker again. she changed her name and went back at it...they caught her and put her away forever.

She didn't necessarily have to be a carrier, just lax in the hand sanitation dept..after going...

Imagine take a good dump don't wash your hands and start prepping food for people at a restaurant...cough cough I am starting to feel sick just writing about it.
