this is mearly a request........
when you feel the urge to demonstrate your opinions about the US/Iraq/sweden/canada/etc. etc. please don't do so in threads that have nothing to do with it. the thread from surflvr911sc was a clear example on killing a good topic. DON'T BE SO DAMN POLITICAL WITH YOUR OPINIONS IF THE TOPIC DOESN'T ASK FOR IT!!!!!!!! those here who agree with me please chime up. i've seen too many threads in the OT forum and 911 forum which take a political turn when it's simply not called for. (yes i know this is OT) but have some respect for peoples threads. that is all.....

I agree completely. A pro war/anti-war threat was started about 3 months ago, and everything that possibly could be said was said in there. Since then, about 20 threads popped up saying the exact same thing over and over again. Someone at somepoint pointed out that it was weird that I stopped putting in my 2 cents... why? It was because there was nothing to add to the discussion. Everything that was said by both sides became redundant.
People: Liberals and Conservatives alike - please realize that you're not gonna convince the other side of the error of their ways by having the same arguments over and over... it is frustrating, I know, but let's not let disagreeing over politics encroach on every aspect of our lives.
