Yea, the MD 6XP is advertised as portable. It is, if you are at least 200 pounds, and in decent shape. It comes with a pivot point, and a handle with steel wheels. In fact, the handle is where the pump is mounted normally. Since mine is in a pit, it ain't going anywhere. My pump is mounted on the wall, and I like it that way.

Just today I was using the lift. My power brake system on the El Camino had a horrible air leak and it sounded like a air brake system inside the car. So R&R the brake booster, and "while yer in there" is really would be stupid to keep using the 34 year old master cylinder with 366,000 miles on it, so it was replaced. One of the bleeder valves acted like it was just welded in place, so it is super easy an cheap to replace the calipers.

It is so nice to sit on my butt on the roll around stool, and work on the brakes at a comfortable level. This photo is in the middle of mid mess.

yes. mathematically, lowering is just negative lift. :)

My Sc got lowered one night. A guys dog would poo right outside my gate each evening - so I waited. Anyway to cut a long story short I think he must have been a bit miffed and came back later and let down all the tires on the 911.

I had to laugh. But I stopped laughing when I had to use a hand pump blow them up enough to drive to the gas station's pump.

Thanks Glen,
I'm going to use your plans exactly.
Appreciate the thought that you put into it.
