For my last 9 months working in Italy I was living in 3 different countries a week, working in Italy and then alternate weekends in the UK and Slovenia

I had to keep a spreadsheet going so as to remind me of when I should finish work and where I should be going on a Fri after work :confused:

The last 7-8 years I was working, I altered my schedule so I'd leave home at 4:30AM just to miss the traffic. Half hour to work was doable most days. Spent the first hour on the computer surfing the net as they didn't like paying for any time before 6. I don't understand how people can spend that much time in a car getting to a job. I know I did it for a long time but I wish I'd figured out something different. Wore my left knee out driving stick shift cars too. Should have gone to an automatic long before I did in 2002. What's that they say about hind sight? It's always 20-20.

In Hawaii way back in 1968 we lived in Waipahu, and dad worked at Hickam. It was 10 mile drive. It took one hour each way. Not high speed traffic. And he had to drive into the sun-ward direction and home facing the sun.
