Yea - you might want to water the grass that morning. And your house roof, and put your cars in the garage... and get your AC system serviced by then too!

Yea, the lead will be melted at 621 degrees. People will be cooked in short order.

the best pic i've seen on PPOT was someone posted a picture complaining about the heat in Tenn. (i think). maybe Lousiana. dont remember, not important.

the pic was the sun on one side of the image, and the earth on the other side. then a dot in between the two was labled. "tennesee". super funny, and i should have kept it.

Lawton is the armpit of OK. Always the hottest part of the state.

Are they more animated the hotter it gets?

I'm not caring for low 90's one bit. Inside the shop with a fan on me it's tolerable. In the sun, forget it. I just start bit*hing.

^^^ I don't think it can get too hot for them. They need the rays for their health and try to soak up as much as they can. They'll stake out their spot and stay there the entire day.

Sunday you will be able to fry an egg on the sidewalk in front of your house in about 30 seconds.
