Hot Springs, Ar. -

I’m going to Hot Springs next week for 3 days and want to rent a boat and have two choices - Lake Hamilton, which is the lake our resort is on, or drive a bit up to Lake Ouichita and rent one there..

Anybody got any tips for that area as to which would be a better Lake to cruise around on? Will be just two of us..

Also, any other attractions/ things to do/ restaurant suggestions?

Quachita has more secluded areas with natural beauty

Nice place, we are considering just that plan in early august. Renting in Hot springs village and will probably just stay on lake there. I love Ouchita, I don't think any of us have spelled it correctly. Highway 7 from Hot Springs is a great drive. Lots of those in the that part of the world. Enjoy

After talking to a few people, we went with boat renting on "Lake Ouachita". (<- correct spelling..). Our room is at a resort on Lake Hamilton right in Hot Springs Village area.

Garvin Gardens is a nice place to visit if you like flowers/shrubbery. Lots to do in Hot Springs. Hope you have a great visit

Hot springs and the surrounding area is beautiful.
Either one sounds like a lot of fun
