Rick Beato music teacher great YouTube channel
I love this guy’s content and I don’t even really play an instrument. I just dig how he deconstructs songs and plays the riffs. Talented musician and music theory teacher. He’s got tons of content. This one’s a favorite because it’s about Rush.

He’s a very good music theory guy. Breaks everything down and shows you what the artist was doing. Seems like a good guy too- passion is engaging.

He has some pretty cool videos. The amazing thing about some of those isolated Rush tracks is that they sound like dogschit by themselves. But Terry Brown's mixing and mastering makes them fit together just right. Moving Pictures has such great tones, but I really can't stand the isolated tracks. I can play every note of that album, so I've spent some time on it.
There are some isolated tracks of old Van Halen tunes from when they broke them down and washed out all the other stuff for the Guitar Hero software. Now that is some amazing stuff. It's so raw and unpolished, but it full of fire and fury. Producers and engineers are truly unsung heroes.

Yep a very sharp musician with a great ear and a ton of experience. He also has a skill for communicating well.

I love this guy. Especially the "What Makes This Song Great" stuff. He isn't a snob when it comes to music genres and really does a deep dive into the intracacies of great song-crafting. I am a huge music fan and he seems to love the details just like a do. I can listen to a song a thousand times and still get chills at certain parts. I think Rick is like that, too.
Rick's buddy Rhett Shull has some good videos also.

Started watching him when I got a used drum set a long while ago and needed to replace the heads. One of the few I check on regularly.

Love watching him. His "top 20 XXXXX intros of all time" series and "what makes this song great" are amazing. Love the passion and energy in his vids.
Cheers
