Had to be a fun fight! I've had bass turn my paddle boat around when fighting them. I can only imagine what they'd do to a kayak!

Nick you should check out some of the videos from Hawaii, the kayak fishermen go for the Nantucket slayride when hooked to big ocean fish. Only problem is once they tire you have to land them. Ono in particular are known for being aggressive once aboard, and they have serious teeth..

I have my next target lake. It will involve a decent walk dragging my boat. :)

Or several taped to rocks or bolts because otherwise they just float. I think you want them under water when they go off for maximum deterence. I couldn't believe how aggressive and persistent the hammerhead was after the guy poked it over and over again with his paddle.
