Social Security Red Tape
 

My brother is 58 years old and has a very serious life threatening diagnosis of cancer.
He had an initial call with SS to see if hecould qualify for Social Security Disability. He has 37 years of service with his employment. SS rep said he doesn't qualify b/c he makes too much. I remember a former employee at my employment who had a nervous breakdown and qualified for SS disability.
Does anyone know how to navigate the SS to find out if he will qualify for SS disability. He is going though chemo and is on FML but is very stressed so I am trying to help him.
