RIP Jeff Quinn of Gunblast
 

We lost one of the "good guys" of the shooting world the other day, Jeff Quinn. A genuinely nice guy, with a depth of knowledge seldom seen. Here is his brother, breaking the news. RIP, Jeff:

Too bad, imagine there is a lot of stuff he knew, but did not get around to teaching someone

Sad, I’ve watched his videos and learned much.

Gunblast and Jeff's writing was much superior to most everything out there int the pre-video days. I enjoyed his videos too, but the sweet spot really were his written reviews.

I had to chuckle - the last video I watched was posted in the "birdshot for home defense" thread. Jeff shot a pork shoulder hanging in an onion sack from a tree stump and commented on how the dog was going to eat well that night. Doesn't get much better than that.
