That was interesting. The tread area moved sideways slightly with every revolution.

Interesting, what I've seen so far, but jeez, wash your damn hands before you take the car out!

I noticed that as well. Not sure if it was toe or camber or what.

I’d say that the toe was WAY off judging by the look of that tire he removed.

Cool.
Now, mount an IR camera in the tire and get on the track... |

The main problem with that, and the reason, why I suspect he didn't go very far or very fast is balance. I suspect it's a beyotch to balance a tire with a go pro mounted to the wheel. And ever if you did get in balanced, I suspect things would get very ugly very quickly as speeds picked up. I assume things would come apart really quickly before you got up to anything even approaching highway or track speeds.

There was a video on youtube for a mini-series that ran in the UK about sex. At one point, they mounted tiny cameras "on the end of the train" and "in the depths of the train tunnel" so you could see that from a very different angle. Yes, youtube had the full video that showed everything, presumably because it was "educational". I think there were something like 6 shows and they were at least 30 mins, and maybe up to an hour.

I always wash my hands after working on the car and before driving. i kept looking at his hands other than concenrating on the video.
BUT, it does demonstrate how much work the tire does every time the car is driven, and how you need to keep your tires fresh. |
