Ant Anstead Master Mechanic
If you guys haven't seen this series then I highly suggest it. Best I’ve seen in I don’t know how long.
I’ve liked him since he took over from Edd China on Wheeler Dealers. Liked him even more when I heard he married that hottie Christina who used to be married to Tarik El Moussa and they had that Flip or Flop renovation show that was on for years. Anyways this series really shows his talents and skill. He’s also pretty entertaining. The premise is he designs and builds his own car from scratch. I sat through 6 hours of the whole 12 episode series yesterday and couldn’t stop watching. Luckily I had recorded it the day before so I could fast forward through the commercials. When it was all over I must’ve sat there for an hour replaying parts of it over and over in my head and realized what a lucky and very talented (and very energetic) person he is. I’ll pretty much watch whatever he’s in from here on out. Didn’t realize his background as a police officer or car builder in the past. When I googled him when he first came on Wheeler Dealer it basically said he was a British TV presenter so I didn’t think much but I did like him on Wheeler Dealer but I certainly have a new found respect for him now. He’s definitely a car guys car guy. Tony |

I just finished binge-watching this show too. After seeing what he's accomplished here, I moved him up a few rungs on my "car-guy" ladder. Ant has very impressive skills and is self-taught to boot. Although I enjoyed watching Edd China do his thing on WD, I'll have to say that I think Ant leaves him in the dust as far as fabrication and overall mechanical ability are concerned. I also think that he explains the tasks at hand and his thinking process very well too.
I also like the format of his show...especially the occasional chats about his personal stuff, or when he interacts with the film crew a bit. Definitely the kind of guy I'd like to sit down and have a chat with over a few beers.

I whole heartedly agree rcooled.
Never wanted to move to California before and now would love to live in Huntington Beach with all the little hidden classic car shops in the industrial parks all over the place. What a great car culture universe still going strong. Tony |

I watched Ant's series on building a special.
He knows his stuff but I didn't like how he canted the engine and gearbox to make everything fit. But anyway... Good effort. (There are 13 videos in the playlist. This is the first one.)
