Just saw this on a news banner. Yeah it's lame but allergies have had my up since well before dawn.
"...The Star Wars actor will also be responsible for paying Mavrakis, 54, $14,934 per month in child support, as well as a trust fund set up for their daughter's educational expenses. McGregor will also pay Mavrakis $35,868 per month in spousal support..." $50k per month!!

Have a friend, worth a few hundred million, self made, bartended at a strip club to put himself through community college.
His wife used to open up random businesses, clothing, art gallery, etc.. which always failed. He asks me to help her with her latest venture, high end cosmetics shop for as she put it “for the discriminating woman who doesn’t mind spending $4-5,000 at one time” There was a relatively minor expense on one thing that was pissing him off “..... we are not doing that, this ****s going to cost me $250k as it is and she’ll be out of business in 6 months just like every other shop she’s opened” So I ask, dude, then why are we even doing this? “Because if I don’t, she’ll spend $500,000 shopping” This was 20 years ago. The surprise, the store worked, she has 3 locations, North Shore LI, Beverly Hills, and Palm Beach.

This thread makes me glad that I married a practical and financially wise women that I've stayed married to for 45 years and counting.
It also makes me glad that our heating/air conditioning system has an electrostatic filter. Hot here today and area farms harvest/plowing dust is in the air.
