this guy builds a bass boat out of a plastic rowboat.

this is how i imagine some of you PPOT guys are. (i'm looking at you Tim Hancock!)

what a wild build. the guy puts 3 motors on a plastic boat.

Mine isn't plastic, it's a 12' fiberglass MFG cartopper that I built casting decks, with electronics, and a 55# electric trolling motor (no need to go that fast).

I will be trying out the 1939 Kiekhaefer (later became Mercury) 6 HP motor that my wife's Grandpa gave me a long time ago, i've had it running before, and should push the boat along about 15 mph+.

Great but I got a headache from watching the video. Too much movement but it's better than a lot of videos on YouTube. The end result was great...

The "poster child for boat safety" got my attention once I realised he'd lost his left arm.

Stick steer would have been way cooler. I have seen it before, and 3 5hp outboards just are not enough. Cool build though.

Back in the day, we had a 14ft Ouachita with an 18hp Mercury. It would do 30. Still have the motor, looking for another 1969.
