I see lots of YT videos like vash posted, no doubt she, like all the rest has nailed the tune and visual support. Question, I am sincere here, how many of these folks actually write their own music? Admittedly I am posting this without even searching the OP artist - she could be a super star. Similar, I know (personally) there are incredibly talented musicians out there, but the trigger is the original song writing, or at least rights to a song written by someone else that you sang to stardom. Example, that Lilac band, got the covers nailed, but their own music at this point is irrelevant.

Yep I totally recognize I am an old fart (get off my lawn) and that there are thousands of cover bands who earn a living playing our favorites ... nothing wrong with that. I was in the SB Red Piano bar a couple years back and totally enjoyed Cliff & Susan belting out the best of the best hits - great show for what it was.

Guess I just painted myself into a corner with that one :) Carry on.
