These movies any good? Homefront and Lawless

Perusing videos on Faceplant, I ran across short clips from these.

Homefront is a classic, peaceful badass (Jason Statham) goes to town to live a quiet life and tangles with the local bad guys until he ends up cleaning up the town (reminds me of Walking Tall and a bunch of the Steven Seagal movies)

Lawless looks like it could be interesting.

Cool. Yeah, Statham is cool.

How about Secondhand Lions.

I love this scene.

I highly recommend watching Lawless.
It is intense.
I also recommend watching The Hateful Eight with Samuel L Jackson.
Even better

The hateful eight sucked. So slow I kept falling asleep before I finally shut it off. To each his own I guess.

Man that Lawless movie couldn’t have a better cast of actors. I’m going to have to watch that
Thanks for the suggestion.

Lawless is amazing.
Based on a true stroy...Tom Hardy Shia LeBeouf AND Gary Oldman...need I say more?

Homefront is good also...but not as good as Lawless.

That's what I was thinking as I watched the trailer, really good cast.

Interesting, true story. I may have to watch it this weekend. I think it's on Amazon Prime for free if you're a Prime member. I don't think either one was on Netflix.

I don't think the missus would care for either one, but they both look good to me. I like movies like Homefront, Walking Tall, etc...
