For big houses in cold climates and/or bathrooms far from the water heater....what about both?

A small unit to keep the line temps (fully insulated when installed) at a lukewarm temp...say 70-100deg always held in the pipes.
Plus a local limited electrical on-demand to bump that up to 105-120.

Cheaper to and more efficient to have a circ pump installed. the upside benefit is huge. A thermo switch can be added to regulate pump cycle.
