Puts my guys to shame LOL

Know a guy who has a dog that does that competitively, best was like 26'

If I had the time to train him, I have a dog right now that would be amazing for dock jumping or obstacle courses.

My wife saw him catch a bird in flight, she said his feet were way higher than the fence. I saw him jump up a little hill one time chasing a squirrel and his back feet landed at least 10 feet up

Sooner or later 08-30-2020 05:12 PM

My dachshund could do 10'. With a tail wind.

Thanks for the vid.

Amazing dog and young lady. She's your typical shy teenager and then she becomes someone else when she's prepping and motivating Spitfire.

I love them both! Great video, thanks. :)

Up because they're so awesome.

I'm not just saying this for "likes". This is why I love the USA. No other country would foster such a sport. The fact that it's now an international sport proves how supporting competition brings out the best in people.

I thought this thread would get more comments.

Please watch the video. I promise you you'll enjoy it.

You know, that was really cool.

It’s amazing what some dogs will do to please their masters... our last dog was like this. Our current dog, not so much. I think that’s the dingo in her.

Thanks, I like feel good stories like that !

First I ever saw a Whippet was at a Dallas Cowboys half time show. Master was throwing a Frisbee, and from the opposite 20yrd line, the dog hauled arse and left the ground near the 10-15yrd line, and caught the touch down. It was amazing!

Thanks for sharing.

Very well done video. Reminds me a little of the quality of the petrolicious videos.

I was completely unaware of "dog dock jumping." I was expecting this to be dogs jumping to get frisbees or something like that.

The dog and it's human are both adorable.

I don't think I've ever actually run into a whippet in the wild. I've run into dogs that I thought were whippets, but they've always turned out to be Italian Greyhounds which are like greyhounds but smaller.

The relationship between the young lady and her dog is what makes this video special to me. Dogs are a gift to us. Their lives are way too short in my opinion.

jhynesrockmtn 09-02-2020 07:15 AM

That's awesome. My hometown. They are both great!

flipper35 09-02-2020 09:06 AM

Our old lab could do the dock dog thing. Some dogs love the challenge. She couldn't touch those jumps though.

The one shot of the dog walking back to the owner all you see is muscle.

pwd72s 09-02-2020 09:24 AM

Just wow!

stealthn 09-02-2020 12:22 PM

Look at the quads on that puppy!
