Long Beach car parade for child on hospice care (Tomorrow, 9/5)

Hey everyone. If you're local around the Long Beach area, tomorrow (Saturday), September 5th we're doing a drive by birthday car parade for Nicholas, who's turning 6 and currently in hospice care. He has brain cancer and isn't doing too great... this is his last birthday.

His mom asked if we could get as many cars as possible to drive by for his 6th birthday car parade. If anyone wants to bring a little toy for him, you can as well.

LBPD and Fire will be there too. Come drive by with your car if you can.

When: Saturday Sept 5th 12-1:30pm.
Where: 225 E Artesia Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90805

Maybe cross-post on F-chat? Last time there was something like this, I think I was the only non-Ferrari to show up (edit: I take that back--there was a Renault R5). Those guys showed up in spades, and Auto Gallery showered the kid with lots and lots of swag.

We did another one of these a few months ago and it was crazy the amount of cars and toys we gathered for the kids. Bisimoto, some supercars, hypercars and pretty much all kinds of cars came out. I expect the same to be happening this time around!

A few of our group mates are participating in a Supercar cruise ending in LB and they're making a stop in front of the home too.

When I was in Ferrari Owners Club...we did stuff like this all the time. A lot of it was with make a wish foundation. I will say the ferrari guys came out in full force, it was pretty cool for the kids

Just saw a story on the local ABC news about this. There were reportedly 1K cars there today.

Car parade

I was there. while stuck in a major traffic jam the car in front of me caught on fire big time at the intersection of Artesia and Long beach Blvd. As I was trying to escape the flames in my convertible corvette I was sprayed with a fire extinguisher by the police explorer. My dark blue car looked like some one covered me in flour inside and out. What a mess, Not to mention we were blinded by the smoke, flame and fire retardant.
There were so many cars I never could even get close the the little boy's house. Had to give it up and rush home to get the chemical dust off my car
