Only 102* here, supposed to top a buck ten tomorrow and Monday.

Scott Douglas 09-05-2020 02:37 PM

And still more heat...

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1599345393.JPG

And 28% RH isn't considered 'Dry' around here.

450knotOffice 09-05-2020 02:46 PM

My car’s temperature gauge here in Mission Viejo is 111 right now.

Flat Six 09-05-2020 03:41 PM

Should get downright chilly here Tuesday . . .

Really cool weather station. What outside the house? A little wind thing and everything? Wireless?

fred cook 09-05-2020 04:22 PM

It was a nice balmy 93 degrees here in S. Georgia today. Supposed to be "only" 89 tomorrow with thunderstorms. Maybe the rain will cool things down a bit!

Yes, it is a cool little weather station that has a little wind thing outside and it's all wireless.
The Acurite site has all different kinds on it. This is one of their cheapest. Here's a pic of the wind thing hiding in the plumaria.

Picture taken from INSIDE the house thru double pane window w/screen on it. Why?
Because it's HOT outside!

Sucker...up here in EDH, it's supposed to only be 108😒

Tobra 09-05-2020 08:31 PM

Yeah Brett, but it is a dry heat, and it cools off at night, that is what I keep telling myself. Seems less smokey at least. What is the deal with the apocalyptic weather? At least the smoke keeps the mosquitoes in check.

My sister has one like that, even has the pool and hot tub temp. She is a tech geek married to a tech geek

The nearest town they include in weather reports was supposed to be 111 and 114 tomorrow. When we came through on the freeway home this afternoon, the thermometer in my wife's car showed 114. This is the hottest I've seen it around here. To top it off there is a fire in the area that jumped from 22 acres to 1,500+ in a matter of a few hours.

Evans, Marv 09-05-2020 10:08 PM

Here is a pic of the fire taken about a mile from here as of an hour or so ago.

We've had hurricanes here the last 2 Labor Day weekends.

ckelly78z 09-06-2020 04:02 AM

75*, sunny, with low humidity here (finally) yesterday afternoon hit up to 80....just perfect with 55* at night and ultra clear skies.

slow&rusty 09-06-2020 04:20 AM

It got so hot in Houston a few days ago...the Mercedes temp gauge couldn't keep up.

This is getting serious now.

Just after 11AM and it's already as hot as it was yesterday mid-afternoon.:(
