Maxum boat, trying to identify the model

Boat for sale, owner doesn't know model. Inboard engine has been replaced by Landover 2.5 litre n/a diesel coupled to original sterndrive. Flybridge, 6 windows along each cabin side. V berths in forepeak, booth for small double under flybridge.About 25feet long overall, 8' 4" wide, 24" draft , about 109" aircraft.
I know this brand was supposed to be the upmarket sister brand to Bayliner but were they better built? Is the hull sandwich construction? Sorry cannot post photo. The boat is cheap compared to British built boats of similar size, don't know the age, but still in original gelcoat

Aircraft should read air draft

Bayliner had a sailboat line/models called "Buccaneer". The early '70's models have 6 or 7 windows on the sides and there was a 24' model.

I was hoping this thread was about a Russian guy who intentionally crashes boats

no not quality if it is anything like a bayliner or owned by them
upmarket was better cushions and curtains

their sail boats were ugly and poorly built also

run away now
or swim away later

Is it something like this?

Except for the # of windows, it seems similar to what you’re describing.

If not, maybe it’s somewhere in here?

Again, with the number of windows, I don’t see anything here close to what you’re describing. If they were ambitious enough to re-power the boat with something completely different, cutting in some new ports was likely a weekend project.
