email on an iphone
 
I have tried everything I can find on the net but I can't set up an email acct on my iphone. It asks me to use the alternate setup with IMAP but that page asks for an IMAP password that I don't have or know how to get.

Then I tried setting up an Outllok acct, same deal. I spent time with both Verizon and Apple no one could help, and forget my ISP provider. So frustrating.

Any ideas?

The IMAP password is the same as your account password.

It was either set by you or set for you and sent to you and likely needs to be changed on first login.

If you can access the account through a web portal in a browser use the same user / pass combo.
