Went thru the drive thru last night, and was told my order was $5.76; when I got to the window and the cashier saw me, it was $5.18.

My first "senior discount," and I've got a while until 60. :eek:

A joke for you...

I got on the bus and saw her looking at me. She was just my sort, slim, very attractive, smart. Looks like she could be a lot of fun. I looked at her and sauntered down to where she was sitting and about to say "Would you like to go out tonight - dine, then maybe dance a little..." Then she stood up and offered me the seat as a senior citizen.

I'm wondering how many of these events are necessary before it settles in?

A couple of summers ago...hot July day with my 944 parked while I shopped for groceries. When I exited the store I spied two very attractive ladies...late teens/early twenties wearing short-shorts and tank tops, who had quite obviously arranged themselves to look as alluring as possible to whomever owned the Porsche.

Long story short...when these young ladies saw "gramps" approaching the car, they skeedadled out of there pretty quick!

How's that for an "ouch?"

People have always underestimated my age. I get lot of second looks when someone asks my age and I tell them 70. MrsWD certainly doesn't look her age either. So we have to ask for discounts.

It's not you, man. You're driving the wrong model! Get one of these and they won't skeedadle! ;)
