Anyone know of good V8 machine shop in the Fort Benning, GA area?
My son is looking to rebuild his 1969 Ford 351W and needs the usual machining services but wants to handle the assembly himself on Post. Engine dyno for break in and tuning would be a huge plus. Thanks

Nice looking car.
I can't help you at all, but a decent machine shop is hard to find now days. Crate engines are so cheap, at least small bock Chevy that most machine shops went out of business. With the Army base so large there must be some machine shops left. Good luck. |

My dad had a '70 with a 351 that was mine to use when I got my license a few years later.... brings back memories :). Good luck! |
Johnston, SC has an awesome engine rebuilder. Carolina Machine Engines. Sorry, not real close, but they did an awesome job on my 7M-GE, and they are drag racers.

One more bump for a few more eyeballs.
Atlanta is only about 2 hours... there’s got to be a shop still left that someone is familiar with. I know the crate engines, aluminum heads, and Suumit/Jegs have crushed these guys but still... Thanks |
I love that this is not chev muscle.
I am just completely done with chevelles and Cameros. |
