I lost a dear friend to drugs...just hope he's at peace now. A sad and all too common story.

I had a friend who voted for Obama. He has never been the same.

A childhood friend of mine got to stealing hubcaps and car radios (5 finger discount). By 24 he was in a NY state prison.

Saw a teenage friend get drunk and smash his bicycle into a police car. DUI.

Judge decided to throw the book at him, locked up in juvie.

Got out and he was a different person. Spiraled downhill from there. Methamphetamine psychosis. Homeless, almost schizoid last I saw him. Heard he died passed out in a park a few years ago.
