Nasty business, wildfires.
Hope all is ok, Vash.

Stay safe buddy. It sucks but at least the stuff can be replaced.

I have a feeling too Cliff. They will stop it. It's going to be alright.

jhynesrockmtn 09-28-2020 05:35 AM

Stay safe. We lost a whole town not that far south of us a few weeks back. The devastation from the fires in incredible. Ugh.

ErVikingo 09-28-2020 05:40 AM

take video and photos and GET THE HELL OUT. Its hard, i know living in hurricane zones for decades. But, things can be replaced, life and limb not. be well and stay safe.

Quick note. Call your insurance agent. Some policies have a provision where they will pay to proactively put retardant on your home. It works. You have to ask and you have to have this provision.

Nothing but fire trucks heading in. People headed out. I got a great feeling. They will stop it.

1 or 2 beers at the BIL and I’m going to bed. Thanks.

Bated breath...hoping for good news.

Hoping for the best! We were evacuated earlier this summer and boy oh boy it sucks. I took some clothes , two generators and my old Tacoma. My wife tried to get the entire house into the Tundra.
I think since everything is insured then why drive yourself nuts trying to decide what to take. My wife still hasn’t put most of the stuff she took back.

Starless 09-28-2020 11:32 AM

Ya grabbed the tomato seeds right?
Be safe.

NutmegCarrera 09-28-2020 12:05 PM

Sending only the most positive thoughts toward the west coast.
Hope all is well with you guys!

the fire is between Bothe St pk and the Hwy just above Santa Rosa

a close friend's daughter lives there - I've known her since her birth - 30 years

Best wishes to all
