It was at my house today, so its value either went up or went down

Bill Douglas 10-01-2020 04:34 PM

Probably up.

ROCS took this 911 and created the heavily simulated patina and wear. Cosmetic upgrades include the distressed matte paint, Painted Gulf logos and rear Porsche script, Chalk painted hood,
No where to go but up for that poser IMO.
Nothing worse that fake patina.
For sure I'd take it, but wouldn't let it be seen in public until it was undid.
YMMV

Yeah. Lend it to me for a week and the patina would be real.

Picking up or dropping off?

You find what you were looking for?

Something you need to tell us?

More importantly, whose E-Type is that? Too bad there's no more photos of that one ;)

Noah930 10-02-2020 08:30 AM

Looks pretty good there, Tyro.

Thanks, sorry for thread hijack.

Bought 2008 for $8500. Still have it and use it for autox and other local driving events.

Silver is Avery Denison vinyl, original paint is 464, Tobacco Metallic.

So why the POS label?

Ok so not so much POS - a “driver” as some might say. Paint ok at 10’, some rust as it was driven apparently all over Germany prior to being shipped to the states. Has some good upgrades - Carerra front brakes, oil tensioners, 28-row cooler, H4s, etc.
