one of my office supervisors...forehead slapper.

we have a town-hall meeting tomorrow with the public. we are about to build a bridge across a pristine section of land and the public is understandably concerned. i've seen some of the questions emailed to the Project Manager. one is particularly hard hitting and i was looking for our answer should it come up and everyone turns and looks at me. (Zoom Meeting! egads - maybe i can fake a technical difficulty)

my supervisor was running around yesterday panicked about the question..today, he was cool. i asked he he found the answer. he said..

"that question should go to project management, not us" HE GAVE UP!!!

WTF? i believe we should be ready, especially if we got the question EARLY! what a maroon

Right, it'd be great if you could throw the question over the fence, but as a backup, have a good answer. Especially since chances are good that the PM's are going to either not have an answer, or will have a horrible answer.

If you find the answer and the question is asked, maybe you can hold off seeming to defer to your supposed supervisor & then supply the answer when he can't. Not a politically good move I realize buit might be satisfying at the time.
