Another motorcycle followed me home!
Well, it followed me home after I strapped it down to a trailer! 1965 BMW R60/2. The guy I bought it off of used it as his daily rider for the last 17 years. He kept receipts for everything he did for the bike. In decent running condition, but like everything else I get, I’m going to go through it from one end to the other.

Nice! Don't you love it when motorcycles follow you home like that.

Very nice. Slingers and seals. Let the fun begin!
Great bike...enjoy. |
You should quit going on senic joy rides pulling an empty trailer .... with straps!
Stuff will still jump in yer truck tho' :) |
Only 1 picture? That's too nice for only one picture.

Congrats on the new scooter, Kurt!
She's a beauty! :) |
That has a great look to it. I have never seen seats quite like that.... Pretty cool!

Removed the faring and rear sear and cleaned it up a little bit. I’ll just leave the faring on when I’m going on a longer trip. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1602794171.jpg |
Love it. I picked up a 1978 R80/7 about two months ago. She's about ready to go to the shop for new M Unit wiring module after removing a bunch of extraneous parts and changing her character substantially to a cafe/scambler.
Keep this thread updated with pictures as she progresses. |

The seats aren’t that uncommon. Finding one with the Batman fairing and saddle bags is. |
