What are these for?

I discovered these in our shop at work. I hate to throw them away and find out later I needed them - any idea what they go to?

They bolt through a thin material, probably metal, or fiberglass on a boat, to hold rope cable or chain would be my guess.

Small base flange so it probably doesn't hold much.

Probably for a piece of equipment that needed to be lifted into place.

The thread pitch is too course, but they look like the eye bolts used to anchor race type seat belts.

Shoulder type eye-bolts.
They can handle a little more angled load that conventional eye bolts.

Clearly- Egyptian ankh eye bolts. Ancient aliens build the pyramids? nope- just ordinary citizens with a crapload of eyebolts. Probably worth big $$$$$.

seriously though- they make me want to make up a project just to use them.
