My four turtles are all sliders....two red-eared and two map sliders.
They are very similar except for the red markings.

GF looked after the turtles at the SPCA and said they have to have a certain food... the list went on. I've got sooooo many hobbies, I couldn't face another one.

I don't think they would escape, or even want to escape. Dogs barking etc.

I buy 2 or 3 of these each year. I think they are $15 each. Plus another one of freeze dried shrimp.
They love those.

I may have to expand the landing area in the stock tank. Notice which turtle is guarding the food bowl :)

If you were to be cruel to her you could put out another food bowl on the other side, and she wouldn't know which to guard.

Lol...she is the queen of the group. They never question her authority....they just wait for their turn. (they know their status!)
