Cool surf board thread

After spending waaaaaayyy to much time on the "My own surfing" thread (thank you to the OP for helping me escape work for the last hour!) , it reminded me I need to see some pics of cool surf boards for a backyard table project I want to start designing.
I have three columns holding up my balcony and want to make 4 fold down surf board shaped bars. So I will be painting designs on both sides and need some inspiration.

Thanks

Find a cool vintage one! . The factory finish will hold up way better than paint

Check out this guy's site for some ideas:

The King's Ride

There's no doubt about his craftsmanship, but the guy is extremely eccentric. He's been spouting about his boards on several websites (Surfer, Swaylock's etc) and usually gets kicked off in short order. He is asking anywhere from $600,000 to a cool Million for his work. Hilarious.

Reading his threads and posts are "entertaining", to say the least. He swears that his boards are the Zenith of wave riding, despite the feedback of many well-respected experts. Also seems to be a strong proponent of the Holocaust being a "myth". Really funny stuff.

Anyways, his boards look like the type of stuff that would make great decorations or wall hangings. If I were going to fabricate "fold-away bars", I would eliminate the rocker (profile curve) and make them flat, so drinks could be easily sat on them.

Kidrock you are posting misinformation of a defamatory nature. Neither the quotes an claims which you attribute to me nor the allegation that I am banned from several fora are correct.

That was my original thought, but after cruising craig's list and not finding much locally & the fact I still wouldn't have a flat top, I decided I should make some.
Probably make theme in long board shape so the point won't be as sharp. Not sure if I want to go with classic styles such as these...

Or more ornate like this...

If you decide to go more ornate, a vinyl wrap might be a good option.

Where do you buy surfboards? If you need some inspiration i think you could go to the see and watch the sunset. It's amazing. I surf with my girlfriend for 2 years. And we used to buy boards from one store. But recently there have been sold boards made of wood of poor quality and not quite suitable for surfing. So I started looking for other surf stores. I found a store https://standuppaddleboardworld.com/wetsuit/ where I ordered a board and a wetsuit. I have never bought such a good and high-quality wetsuit. I think I can wear it for years. Because it keeps my body warm and completely dry after I get out of the water. My girlfriend is satisfied with it too.
