Financial news site - Market watch now Sub based :(

Any suggestions for a free straight-forward financial news web site - something that is not just a web scraper like Google? Something with current articles - but also offers quotes and other information?

I've been a fan of the Marketwatch web site for quite a few years. I feel they've been an unbiased financial news source. Most of their articles are unique and published directly by their site editors, contributors, etc.

I've noticed recently though - more of their links open with a subscription request and would only display the first few lines of the headline story. Tonight I went to the site and - it now seems EVERY single article is doing this. I research and find this:
