Who is up in Portland?

I might fly up there to pick something up, just wondering who is around. :)

jyl 11-10-2020 08:16 PM

Nostril Cheese 11-10-2020 08:20 PM

I'm around, but recovering from surgery. Bit slow on my feet.

Elbow is fine. My ankle joint got seriously infected out of nowhere, swelled up like a balloon. Had to have surgery to open it up and drain it. They found old scar tissue had grown into it. Lots of fun, lol.

Social distance but wink like you’re bond....

Here. The Rona is full bloom now. Things are getting clamped down more every day.

It's just bad everywhere. I haven't been near an airport or a plane since the pandemic started but I need to fly twice in the next week or so. Just going to keep wearing masks and trying to social distance, hope for the best.

Portland has the highest count of Adult Stripper Bars per capita in the nation........just saying

group911@aol.co 11-11-2020 08:40 AM

I don't know. Something just sounds wrong with that statement.

Double mask and try to keep your hands in your pockets, so to speak. I carry a sanitizing wipe in one hand at all times when out. I never touch anything I don't have to and if I have to, I have that wipe. Stay as far away from others as you can.

We wipe or wash EVERYTHING from the grocery store. Other that an occasional doctor appt., I don't go out unless it's to buy staples.

AFA planes go, a recent study showed planes to be relatively safe EXCEPT for the row you sit in and the seats directly behind you. This is one time it would be worth flying first class.

jyl 11-11-2020 03:14 PM

N95 in the plane for sure. Don’t fly an airline that isn’t keeping middle seats empty. Planes do change the air frequently but if you’re right next to someone, air exchange is not enough.

Why don't you drive up....I bought a motorcycle in San Diego today and looking to get it north....$300 toward your expenses if that would work.........

What kind of bike?

LWJ 11-11-2020 09:03 PM

That would be the A-crop to some...

That would only make sense if I rode it to Portland for you. I'm picking up a vehicle in Portland and cannot drive two back at once.

Now, if anyone up there wants to drive it here for me, I'll of course pay for everything, including their flight home. That would be one seriously cold MC ride right now...it's even chilly down here.

What kind of car? I might be up for a road trip
