i would hate to eat a pizza made for me under duress. it would come with "special sauce"

Already thought of that.

I would get coupons and then give them to my friends as gifts.

I mean who eats Papa Johns pizza anyway?

I didn't read through the whole thread, but me thinks if he knocked down your mail box with his passenger side rear view mirror, your mail box was bound to be on the ground in short order.

I would not have even called. Grab the post hole digger and get at it.

I tried that door dash delivery once, and it was pretty gross. Chilies I believe I ordered, I got a knock on the front door and a Tow Truck with some pretty nasty bearded dudes delivered my grub. Bleech, I payed and tipped em, and proceeded to open up the bag, the food was sloshed to the side, and cold. I chucked it and made a sammich. Never more said the crow. Ill get my own food and save a friggen mailbox at the same time...Bleechhh..

I stopped by the Papa Juans on the way home. Spoke with manager and he said he would contact me in the evening after speaking with the driver. The responsibility was going to be on the driver and not Papa Juans.
I got a text from the driver with an effusive apology and he took total responsibility. He instructed me to save receipts and he would repay me as he was able.
I texted him back and thanked him for his response. I told him that there was no need for repayment.
He was very appreciative and said he would bring two pizza by the house after his shift.
We got our pizza, he was off the hook with his insurance.
I suppose this was a good resolution.

Friend of ours used 4" conduit 4' in the ground in concrete and filled with concrete. The Box was welded 1/4". Lots of kids lost their cars to that post trying to run it down. Don't know why, but it was a big thing here for a while to run them over or hit them with a bat driving by. I don't think I would want to hit his with a bat either.

No telling what "extra" topping might be on those pizzas...

Good on both of you.

My mom lived in the country and the mailman in his truck would sometimes side swipe and demolish her letter box because he didn't want to have to lean out the window too far, and got it wrong sometimes.

I welded her up a new letter box and stand that must have done some severe damage to his truck next time he got it LOL
