I once shot off a bottle rocket out in a field in the middle of nowhere and you never saw a dog run so fast and so far in your life. Of course, he was running away from the action.

Cool dog to save humans. Dogs have no concept of a bullet, and how it can destroy what it hits. Dogs have no concept of the danger.
That is one well trained dog and he is a hero for his actions of saving the humans.
