mostly amazon for me. Probably pay a bit more but prime delivery and some reviews for popular parts.

I typed a response that wasn't really kosher considering the forum that Pelican supplies for us. Just suffice it to say that for auto parts, there are some EXTREMELY competitive options that are better than any of the ones mentioned here. Just use the internet to find them.

+1 Due diligence is required to ensure you, the buyer, is not making a mistake.

That said, I use them often and all screw ups (two in many years) have been mine.

Nothing with a core return ever purchased from them. Won't play that game. A few extra dollars at the FLAPS is where that money goes.

Any FLAPS is a possibility.. Napa, Carquest, AutoZone, Advance auto etc. Curious, what does the Buick/GM dealer charge for the parts? Who was the GM OEM producer?

I checked NAPA and their prices are a little higher than Rock for the Monroe parts. They also offer their own brand although I’m sure they’re someone else’s rebranded parts.

No idea who the oem supplier is or where to find it. The struts without the springs are available from AC Delco but I’m sure again, those are rebranded.

I was trying to stick with loaded front struts to save on labor.

I've walked into an O'Reilly's and got the manager to match online prices on identical parts. He wanted to compete and would drastically lower his price within the confines of still making something on it. I'm talking brands like Spicer, Moog, etc...

I've done the exact same thing at dealer parts counters, including the small town Ford dealer this summer for parts for my F-250. It's amazing what you can do at a brick and mortar place if you approach them respectfully and just explain that you usually buy stuff online but you'd like to give them the business if they can come close on price. If they can't do it, they'll tell you but at least it won't be an unpleasant conversation, in my experience.
