Time sure goes fast
 

The multimeter thread prompted me to get the book I bought on how to use one for many tests. Passed the book info on.

It funny how your mind measures time as you age. Giving the book info, I noted that my copy is a first edition, published in 1998.

Holy cow! That was 22 years ago! In my mind, I'd thought I'd bought the book "a few years back".

so..the beat goes on.

Good friend of mine once said...."Time really does fly."

It has stuck with me through the years.

I think it only gets worse once you retire. As of 2020, my dad has been retired for half the time he was in the workforce. When I told him that, it blew his mind. He said the last 15 years has gone by in a blink, and that years feel like weeks now.

I can attest to how time flies. Being retired is full of Saturdays interrupted by What day is it?

Time to take out the trash, again.

Like I said, "It's like a roll of toilet paper. The closer to the end, the faster it goes."

I graduated high school in 2003. It feels like maybe 6 or 7 years ago. I havnt had a 8-5 job since 2012 and it Really flys now. Waking up at 10 oclock doesnt really help I guess.

I graduated high school 25 years ago. It feels like 4 years.

Then there is something very wrong.
HS should feel like another dimension of lifetimes experienced by a totally different person.

One day shorter of breath, closer to death....
