Counting Covid Stats - Will it Start from Zero January 1st?
 

I wonder if the counting of Covid cases, deaths, etc.. will start over January 1st - like other illness or will we be comparing life-to-date stats against the annual stats of other illness?

I am sure there will be a running total that goes into 2021. Flu season/totals runs through 2 years.

CDC will continue with their monthly/annual totals like other illness.

So, I am guessing we will have both running totals and a yearly total that starts over.

Who really gives a flip about the Covid numbers.... they have been manipulated often, and can't be trusted to not count co-morbidity deaths as Covid deaths.

I suspect that deaths from all other causes will have dropped for 2020 compared to other years.

January 20, 2021. Then it will be pushed back to a later date, you know, because of the first 100 days and all.

Joes mask mandate after Jan 20, 100 days, will end about the time most Americans will have received the vaccine for covid. Then he will declare victory because of all he did. Sad, very sad, but I wouldn't expect anything else from him.

The 100 days will also start after the superspreader events like Christmas, and the Superbowl parties...not much big events happening between late January, and April.

The MSM will want to keep running totals including the previous year because bigger numbers are scarier and "if it bleeds it leads". :mad:

They put covid numbers on non confirmed cases. I heard some street biker was killed in an accident and they put his death as a covid number, they are cooking the books. Something is up, guess....

Since he as part of the administration that funded and created it, of course they know the cure.

They probably will, and for good reason. People are driving less, so fewer car accidents. People are staying home so less transmission of all kinds of diseases, and people are distancing and wearing masks so less transmission of respiratory diseases.
OTOH people are accessing health care less. I got a 40% credit on my December health insurance because their costs are down and a reduction in my car insurance for the same reason.
