A real sign, near Kernville, CA in the Sierra's. Lots of cliffs above, and as the story goes cows have actually fallen, and at times even hit a car or two.

If one is going to find amusement in German road signs one can do better than focus on juvenile amusements with the Germany word for journey or trip.

There are a sequence of towns in Germany and Austria that include Kissing, Petting, Wank, Fu**ing, and Wedding. (Thanks go to Andy Wilman & friends for making me aware of this.)

I have read that the town in Austria has changed its name to "Fugging" because the signs kept being stolen.

This was installed going down a hill just before my garage. It is a 2.5 mile downhill thru a forest preserve and my garage and house are the first structures along the route

So I live near Lancaster County, PA which has a large population of Amish and Mennonite people. I don't know if that has anything to do with it but they have really odd town names.

One of my clients is in a town named Bird in Hand. A few days ago I made the drive to meet with them. My drive took me through the following towns.
Paradise
Blue Ball
Intercorse
and ended in Bird In Hand.
