If it's making noise it's either the pre existing floor covering underneath or your floor needed to be leveled to spec prior to installation. The LVT itself is not at fault for your noisy situation, trust me.

The slab was patched, ground flat, and a really thin layer of levelling slurry was floated over the slab prior to laminate installation.
It's likely the installer did not do it perfectly causing the less than stellar result. It looked to me like they knew what they were doing but what do I know, never messed with the stuff before.
But IMO if the product is that temperamental, I'll stick to ceramic tile in the future.
